This page assumes that you have already created and selected an environment.
Create
To create an external instance, navigate to the Instance Pool menu and click on "Create Instance Pool" just like you would for a regular instance pool.
As the provider, choose "external instance" and configure it just like a regular instance.
Because we do not have control over your external instance, the options for replacement and scaling are not available in this case.
Connect your external instance
Once created, on the detail page of your instance pool, you will find instructions on how to connect your server to your environment.
To connect your instance, in the command, you will need to provide the unique token of the instance. To retrieve this information, click on the refresh icon.
